Mayumi Ejiri - Japanese Sister

Walking into the Hawaii Convention Center on Oahu was amazing - so many people - so many colourful outfits from different countries. We met Mayumi when coming in - she was quietly beautiful, wearing her gorgeous pink kimono. We gave her a gift and asked for her picture. On our card, we put our name, address, email and phone number - as well as this blogs address and the congregation we are serving in.

We received an email from her November 29th with her picture attached. I remembered her immediately. So I emailed her back and sent her the picture below. She also sent me her snail mail address so I can send her gifts =)

Pono Kai - Kapaa Kauai

We stayed at a local Condo named Pono Kai. The unit is owned by Allen and Faye Taylor - this is our second time staying here we found it on www.vrbo.com. It is right off the beach, so waking up and watching the sunrise isn't hard at all and the beds are very comfy.

Our first Sunrise on Kauai

There are somethings that I like to do other than shopping - taking pictures. The beauty of picture taking is that it really is all up to me. Sometimes it's of things and other times it's of me and friends. Old Friends, New Friends and a sprinkling of family for good measure...
