Ryan & Meghan Billings- Reply from Me

Hiya guys!
Thanks so much for the most excellent email and pictures!!! What a great surprise in my inbox. I have been trying my best to find some time to send out emails too. I did a couple of weeks ago and I've gotten many responses but there are still so many!!!
I'm especially glad that you sent us this email because we didn't have any info on you guys but we did have two pictures!! so I am sending this along to you.

Also, don't forget to check out picture blog and if you want to follow it - do it because it's gonna take me a little longer to get all the pictures up from our 3 week trip to Hawaii and the convention.

It was so nice to meet everyone, we totally need eternity to get to know everyone. And after studying today's Watchtower, well, we need to keep in touch with our brothers and sisters and let them know how much we love them and are there for them.

Please take care and keep in touch also!

XO

Hi Joanne,
It's good to hear from you. I loved, loved, loved meeting everyone from all of the states & abroad. I'm just starting to get settled back in. Charlie & I were away from home for about two and a half weeks. I have laundry from Hawaii & our trip to Chicago. I'll be busy this weekend.
Sherlon's story...
Sherlon is 28yrs old. He grew up in the truth, but like many teens & young adults, he was lured into the world & it's materialistic lifestyle. Realizing something was missing in his life, he returned to Jehovah's organization. He began studying the bible & was baptized.
Sherlon has been married for two years now, and serves as a ministeral servant in his congregation. He says this scripture reminds him to continue to pursue righteous things, because the material things of value to the world will soon be gone, but the love of Jehovah is eternal.
Say hello to Atom & Philea and please stay in touch!
Agape love,
Tammy & Charlie

Thank you so much for sending me email!!!!

I'm having tough days here in Korea. I' m so sad about it after that wonderful days in Hawaii.

I tried to call you several times in the hotel but It didn't work. Maybe I did something wrong. So sorry!!

Want to turn back time. Then I would maked it more beautiful. It's just like a dream, meeting you and your husband and your doll and,,,

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I was sad I could't get the song book from you. But happily, I could get it soon after I got back to Korea.

But here's the thing. What is important is not that if I met you again, I could have got the song book. It is that I could have met you if I had tried. I could've had beautiful time.

Anyway the point is, that I miss you both!!

And I was really glad when I met you in Korean section. That was a nice surprise. Did someone tell you that where you set was right behind mine?

I want to know more about you. Please mail me back. We could encourage each other to keep up the good work.

O, and, Is there any way I can find a sister from Elmwood Park, Illinois? Is Elmwood Park a name of the congregation?

I met here in 4th day. I gave her the picture too, and she started crying and said that her son is 28 and he left the truth. I was so sorry for her.

She gave me her daughter's email address since she didn't have. AND,I lost it!!!!! I got so many name card at that time, manybe that's why, but this is nonsence. Sad, sad, sad.

What do you suggest?

Again, I wish we had met again.

And I was surprised to see Korean. Thank you so much! That was soooo lovely! It was,,,quite awkward, though. hahaha But it was soooo cute! I was so touched.

Thank you so much.

I'm sending you some pictures too.

And please send the picture to the two sister. They are in the same congregation with you, right?

Love, Hyerim Jeong.

Today was a good day considering....

that there was snow on the ground to greet me.

Convention Pictures from Seoul Korea

This video was sent to me - it is not my video as I wasn't in attendance to the International in Seoul - but is quite heartwarming and brought tears to my eyes. Please enjoy!

Yumi Aoki

So I received the cutest email from Yumi Aoki and some pictures to share. She said that they are currently having a mild winter in Japan. We had snow here last night UHG!

I also received a reply from Ina - she is battling a wee cold after returning from the Hawaii. She said that the Rarotongo is quite humid and sticky. But hey, it's an island with beaches right??? She also had a link to a vacation rental - I'll have to email her and find out if belongs to her and her family ; http://www.kingsbeachvilla.com

Emails Emails and yet, more emails

So it has been almost 2 weeks since the International and I am just starting to go thru all the gifts that people gave me during those 3-1/2 whirlwind days! I am also trying to match up peoples cards with pictures I took with them. Kinda hard, I might say.

But I have been also sending emails to people as well - a total of 4 sent today - I even used Google Translate to send them in Japanese or Korean - who knows if they make any sense?!? we'll see!

Mayuko, Yumi , Ryuta and Eisuke Aoki - Kochi City Japan

Met this family outside the Hawaii Convention Center - on the way back to the condo - sweet family. They gave us a card with pictures of their Kingdom Hall and entire Congregation on it! Also, someone handmade a little shopping bag as a gift. Very sweet!

There are somethings that I like to do other than shopping - taking pictures. The beauty of picture taking is that it really is all up to me. Sometimes it's of things and other times it's of me and friends. Old Friends, New Friends and a sprinkling of family for good measure...
